Accelerating Electrification Efforts in Nandi Hills Constituency
We continue to prioritize the electrification of Nandi Hills Constituency, aiming to ensure that every corner of the constituency is connected to the power grid. Our engagement with the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) and the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) teams remains strong, characterized by close collaboration and robust communication.
Yesterday, we achieved a significant milestone by replacing faulty transformers in several areas. With the funds we have diligently sought for pending projects that were previously unfunded, our teams visited Cherobon, Keteek, Lower Taito, Madebe, Free town (Mogoon junction), and Oldoldol. This proactive approach sets the stage for commencing electrification in these regions promptly.
Multiple electrification schemes are currently underway throughout the constituency. We are committed to ensuring that electricity connectivity is not only established but also maintained effectively. Our tireless efforts in this regard demonstrate our dedication to providing reliable and sustainable access to electricity for all residents.
