Collaboration with Plascon-Kansai Paints Plc in offer training for the first Cohort of 62 Youths
I am delighted to share that the team from Plascon-Kansai Paints Plc, together with representatives from my office, recently visited Kabikwen Primary. This visit marks the beginning of a training program for the first cohort of 62 youth from across Nandihills Constituency in modern tech-based painting techniques. The training will culminate in a graduation ceremony on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
The collaboration with Plascon-Kansai Paints Plc is a significant opportunity for the youth in our constituency. Upon completion of the training, the youth will receive certifications from both Plascon-Kansai and the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). This will enable them to become nationally recognized professionals in the field of painting.
The skills acquired by these young men and women will not only open doors to new career opportunities but also position them as valuable assets in various community projects. The renovations of schools under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) programs will now be carried out by these skilled youth. Moreover, they will have firsthand opportunities to participate in the government's housing program, providing their services in the construction and painting of homes.
I extend my gratitude to Plascon-Kansai Paints Plc for their partnership and support in empowering our youth through this training program. I also commend the efforts of NITA for their role in certifying the trained individuals, further validating their expertise.
