Community Collaboration on Kamalel-Madebe-Kaptangwar-Ngong Road Project
In an effort to enhance connectivity and improve the quality of life for residents in the Kamalel, Madebe, Kaptangwar, and Ngong areas, a road development project is underway. Surveyors have been diligently working to ensure that the road's width aligns with the specifications outlined in the original scheme plan. Furthermore, the project emphasizes a key element that sets it apart from many others – community engagement.
The road passes through various communities, some of which have encroachments on the intended path. Recognizing the importance of a collaborative approach, a 'Baraza' (community gathering) has been scheduled at Kamalel Catholic Church, starting at 10 a.m. today. This meeting will provide a platform for the local residents to discuss and agree upon the best ways to address encroachments and open up the road.
Once completed, the Kamalel-Madebe-Kaptangwar-Ngong Road will serve as a crucial link to Kibabet, significantly improving access for residents in Ngong, Kipkoror, Cheptikok, and Kamalel. This network of well-maintained roads will not only ease transportation but also stimulate economic development by facilitating the movement of goods and services.
