Empowering Nandi Hills Youth: A Manifesto Turned Reality
After a year of relentless effort and building connections, our vision is becoming a reality. We mean business, and if you're a resident of Nandi Hills under the age of 45, possessing a passport, driving license, and a Police Certificate of Good Conduct, we invite you to register at our office. Even if you've acquired skills in painting, tiling, building, plumbing, or any other trade, you're welcome as long as you meet these prerequisites.
In a few short days, I am sending 81+ young individuals to Dubai for well-paying jobs, with salaries starting at 100,000 and more. These opportunities come at no cost to them, and it's just the beginning. Our ambitious goal is to relocate over 1,000 young people by the end of the next year, and ultimately, 5,000 in my term.
Imagine the impact: 100,000+ salary jobs for 5,000 residents, translating to a staggering 500,000,000 monthly income injected into Nandi Hills. The ripple effect on our community is beyond measure, amounting to an estimated 6 billion annually. Is it possible? I firmly believe so. Lives will be transformed in ways we can hardly fathom.
You might question if these are mere promises, but I leave that judgment to you. Next year, Ollesos Technical Training Institute will partner with CDF to sponsor the training of 200 drivers, with many more opportunities on the horizon. The future is bright, and we're determined to make it a reality.
Nandi Hills is undergoing a transformation that will have a profound impact on the community's future. My commitment to creating opportunities for the youth and the community's steady support is turning a once-promised manifesto item into a reality that promises to change lives for the better. The future of Nandi Hills is looking brighter than ever, and the journey has just begun.
