Kimasas cooperative society land victory
It was an extraordinary day for the residents of Nandihills as they celebrated a notable achievement for the Kimasas Cooperative Society and the entire community when they received ownership of a generous 350-acre tea farm from the "Eastern Produce of Kenya," following a favorable ruling.
I must express my gratitude to the County Government of Nandi for their steady support throughout this process. Their collaboration and assistance have been compelling in reaching this milestone.
Having collaborated closely with the cooperative for some time now, it was evident that today marked a moment of triumph as they officially took charge of the extensive tea farm. The cooperative's unity and dedication to efficient management ensure a promising future for the farm's operations.
Encouraged by this success, the community is now inspired to pursue justice for several other farms affected by historical land injustices. This victory serves as a driving force to address past grievances and create a fair and equitable environment for all members of the community.
The day was filled with joy and optimism, and the people of Nandihills can look forward to a brighter future as they continue their journey toward prosperity and justice.
