Meeting with Education PS
Today, I had the privilege of meeting with the Principal Secretary of Education, Mr. Belio Kipsang, to address the pressing issues of education infrastructure support and staffing challenges faced by several schools in Nandi hills. This meeting was a significant step towards securing government support for our local educational institutions.
During our discussion, we identified action points aimed at improving the education system in our constituency. One of the agreed-upon actions is a visit by the PS of Education to the Nandi hills Constituency in early June. This visit will provide an opportunity for the PS to engage directly with education stakeholders and gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges we face. It will also enable us to work closely with the government to devise effective solutions and strategies to address these issues.
As we finalize the details, a specific date for the visit will be confirmed next week. This visit holds great promise for our education sector, as it signifies the government's commitment to supporting our schools and ensuring quality education for our children.
By working hand in hand with government officials, we can pave the way for positive changes in our educational institutions. Together, we will strive to improve infrastructure, address staffing challenges, and create an environment conducive to quality education and the holistic development of our students.
