Nandi County's Call for Development
In Kapsabet, during a visit by Deputy President HE Rigathi Gachagua, concerns were raised, echoing the sentiments of the people of Nandi County. A year has passed, and the hunger for development in our region remains stronger than ever. The people of Nandi eagerly await their share of the development pie, which other regions are currently enjoying.
The pressure from the grassroots, the voters who put their faith in us, is palpable. They yearn to see tangible progress and development initiatives taking shape. To address this demand, it is imperative that we convene meetings to establish a comprehensive development agenda for Nandi. These meetings must yield clear timelines and methodologies for implementation.
As stakeholders in the Kenya Kwanza government, the people of Nandi County deserve their fair share of the development benefits. The commitment to this principle must be steady.
I am pleased to report that, following my resolute statement, we have received invitations from various ministries. Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries have begun detailing timelines for the projects earmarked for Nandi. The wheels are turning, and there is no doubt that change is on the horizon.
