Power connectivity and fundings of programs and energy schemes in Nandihills Constituency.
This morning, on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, I had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Alex Wachira, the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Energy & Petroleum. Our discussion centered on crucial matters concerning power connectivity and funding for various energy programs and schemes within the Nandihills Constituency.
One pressing issue we addressed was the inadequate street lighting in Nandihills town, which has been a cause for concern. The town, especially the newly constructed roads, is in desperate need of illumination for the safety and convenience of its residents. Mr. Wachira and I concurred on the urgency of powering up these areas to ensure the well-being of the community.
Our dialogue extended to several energy schemes that have faced sluggish implementation due to a myriad of factors. We reached a consensus on the necessity of unearthing available resources to expedite the completion of these projects. It is imperative that we follow through on initiatives that were previously initiated, ensuring that they come to fruition and deliver the anticipated benefits to the people of Nandihills.
