Rural Electrification and metering at Kaplelmet
Amidst the joyous atmosphere of festive celebrations, the community of Kaplelmet is experiencing another reason to celebrate – the long-awaited electrification project. As we engage in merriment, the wheels of progress continue to turn, reaching every corner of our region. Development activities, including road construction projects such as Kaptien-Tuiyobei, Nandihills-Kamkong, Tereno-Kaplesio, Timbili-Koilot, Kamalel-Ngong, and more, are shaping the landscape of our community.
A significant milestone in our pursuit of a better quality of life is the ongoing electrification effort. Metering projects are underway at key locations such as Kaplelmet, OLessos Technical, and the Nandihills stretch, bringing light to previously darkened areas. Borehole drilling at Himaki police station is also progressing, promising improved water access for the Himaki center.
The extensive metering and wiring initiatives at Kaplelmet deserve applause, and I extend my sincere appreciation to the community for their close collaboration. The resolution of longstanding electricity challenges exemplifies the power of unity and collective efforts.
